Bring Your Family to Be My Neighbor Day 2017

Hi, Neighbor! Families with children of all ages are invited to come together on March 18, 10am-1pm, to do a little good and make a huge difference for local people in need – all while having fun!  Set examples of caring and kindness in our community by making literacy kits for underserved children, crafting quilt squares for homeless veterans, planting sunflowers to brighten up a senior’s home and gaining awareness about what it’s like to complete everyday tasks with a disability. You’ll also have the chance to meet first responders, dance with a DJ and enjoy story time with Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat on this “grr-ific” day! Please note that they will not be available to take individual photos at the event.

It’s time to begin a lifelong commitment to neighborly volunteerism! See more information.

Admission is free for families attending. A donation of 1 new children’s book for ages 5 and under is greatly appreciated. Books will benefit local children through United Way’s 100,000 Books Initiative!
