For the last four years, Caitlin Green, communications and employee engagement manager for PNC’s Commercial Lending Operations group, has coordinated a United Way Women’s Leadership Council (WLC) breakfast for members of PNC Women Connect, an employee business resource group. This breakfast kicks off United Way’s annual workplace campaign and raises awareness for United Way’s WLC United for Women initiative, which helps women in crisis regain financial stability. Thanks to WLC’s new TOGETHER Leading program, which allows WLC members to sponsor a young woman (such as Caitlin), Caitlin will have access to all WLC membership benefits.

At this year’s WLC breakfast, Karen Larrimer, United Way’s 2015 campaign co-chair and the head of Retail Banking and chief customer officer at PNC, committed that PNC’s WLC members would step up to sponsor ‘women of promise,’ specifically to join TOGETHER Leading.

As Caitlin donates annually to United Way but is not yet donating at the WLC giving level, she feels especially fortunate to be joining TOGETHER Leading.

“TOGETHER Leading is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen professional relationships, develop your network and pass leadership skills through generations of professional women,” Caitlin said.
