MEET CAI EVANS

A new-ish (and proud!) resident of Pittsburgh’s Bloomfield neighborhood, Cai Evans has been enjoying his first year on United Way’s team. As Quality & Training Manager for PA 211 Southwest, Cai knows that no two days are ever the same. From transforming training efforts to meeting with agencies and organizations on the best way to implement changes, he’s excited to see his work come to fruition.

Cai’s favorite part about working for United Way is the clear vision of the organization, paired with the camaraderie and support of his colleagues. Knowing many team members wear multiple hats, he appreciates how the team works together to accomplish projects for the good of the communities we serve. Some of his favorite workplace moments happen when 211 is able to bring the team together – be it for a meeting, to engage in the Poverty Spiral simulator or even to complete a chili cook-off.

This summer, you can find Cai enjoying the Bloomfield community pool, attending the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix or finding a new trail to hike.
