HANNAH YOUNGWORTH

Workplace campaigns are a key part of United Way’s work; no one knows this better than Hannah Youngworth.

As Corporate Campaign Manager, she works with companies to organize their workplace campaigns by creating different fundraising activities and events in collaboration with employees from those companies. She also educates workplaces on the impact of United Way and its mission in southwestern PA.

A typical day for Hannah includes meeting with different companies to discuss and organize their workplace campaigns, as well as working internally with United Way’s processing team to build their campaign donation websites.

In her seven months at United Way, Hannah has enjoyed working as a team with her passionate coworkers. And she values the connections she’s made with people at the different companies she’s working with. She finds it very meaningful that her job plays a greater role in helping those in the community who need it most.

The most memorable moment Hannah has had at United Way so far was her first campaign kickoff. While at the event she was able to hear from agency partners about how their work is made possible thanks to United Way’s support.

In her free time, the Coraopolis resident likes to read, do watercolor painting and visit her two nephews.
