A COMMUNITY OF CHANGEMAKERS
We’ve improved the lives of more than half a million of our neighbors. With your help, we can do so much more.
By supporting United Way’s Impact Fund, you help deliver critical assistance and change the lives of our most vulnerable neighbors by meeting basic needs, moving toward financial stability and building success in school and life.
Connecting people at times of crisis with immediate, essential human needs such as shelter, safety and food.
Helping working families and individuals overcome short-term instability and create a path to a more financially secure future.
Addressing disparities in educational opportunities from early childhood through school years and helping young people become successful adults.
New Proposals for Community Impact Fund grants are now being accepted by United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania as of November 1, 2022. We’ve revamped this important process to be more inclusive for non-profit human-service organizations of all sizes in accordance with our new investment priority framework. Agencies whose work is aligned with our three investment priorities are encouraged to apply for funding: Meeting Basic Needs, Moving Toward Financial Stability, and Building for Success in School and Life. Funding will be awarded to agencies serving Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Fayette and/or Westmoreland counties. Details and assistance with the process can be found here.
